Atlas Formula Black: built for a true Formula-style setup

The SIMGASM Atlas Formula Black is a complete fixed-back sim racing seat created for the lower, more reclined driving position associated with Formula and open-wheel cars. Its sculpted carbon-composite shell, supportive memory-foam cushioning and understated black finish create a focused seating environment for a dedicated Formula simulator.

This configuration includes the shared Atlas lower base, the black Formula upper section and a complete black Formula cushion set. Installation requires the separately available SIMGASM Seat Bracket Set.

Experience Formula seating geometry

A Formula cockpit changes the relationship between your body, steering wheel and pedals. The Atlas Formula supports this layout with a lower and more reclined upper-body position than a conventional GT seat, helping the entire simulator feel purpose-built around open-wheel driving.

The fixed-back construction gives you a stable and repeatable seating position during braking, steering and longer racing sessions. Once the seat angle and height are set, the steering wheel and pedals can be positioned around a consistent Formula driving posture.

One Atlas, two completely different ways to race

The patented Atlas design gives you something a conventional bucket seat cannot: the freedom to change the character of your simulator without replacing the complete seat.

The lower Atlas base forms the foundation of the system, while the upper section and matching cushions determine the driving position. When you add the Atlas GT upper section, the corresponding GT cushion set is included. Fit it to the same base and transform your simulator from the low Formula configuration into a more upright GT setup.

Instead of purchasing and storing two complete seats, Atlas gives you two distinct racing experiences through one adaptable platform. Choose the position that suits the cars you want to drive and change the configuration whenever your simulator evolves.

Black: clean, purposeful and easy to personalise

The black shell gives the Atlas Formula a restrained motorsport appearance that works naturally with aluminium profiles, dark hardware and every SIMGASM cockpit colour. It keeps the low silhouette of the seat visually focused while allowing the rest of the simulator to provide the contrast.

Use the included black cushions for a fully coordinated setup or add red, white, blue or orange accents to connect the seat with one of our coloured sim racing cockpits.

Comfort and colour, configured around you

A complete washable black memory-foam cushion set is included and shaped specifically for the Formula upper section. Separate Atlas Formula cushion sets are available in red, white, blue and orange, making it easy to refresh the appearance of the seat or coordinate it with your chassis and racing theme.

If you prefer additional support around the lower back, the optional Atlas Lumbar Support Cushion can be added without replacing the standard cushion configuration.

Made with attention to every detail

The Atlas shell is created through a specialised production and finishing process developed to achieve clean contours, accurate component fit and a high-quality exterior. The base, upper section and cushions are designed together so that the modular components form one cohesive Formula seat once assembled.

The result is a distinctive centrepiece that combines a focused driving position with the finish expected from a premium, personalised simulator.

Mounting and simulator integration

The Atlas Formula uses side mounting and connects to the cockpit through the separately sold SIMGASM Seat Bracket Set. The brackets allow the mounting height and seat angle to be adjusted around your preferred Formula position.

A predefined bass-shaker mounting pattern is incorporated into the seat for compatible tactile-feedback hardware. An additional mounting point can be used for compatible accessories such as a cup holder or headset holder.
