The SIMGASM Hobby Aluminum Sim Racing Cockpit in Red uses a 40 × 40 mm main profile and has overall dimensions (W × L × H) of 580 × 1300 × 725 mm. It suits drivers moving away from a desk or temporary wheel stand who want a stable, permanently assembled driving position without the scale of the deeper-profile tiers.
Choose the Hobby chassis for its position in the range, then select the wheel mount that matches your wheelbase in the compatibility module.
What is included—and what is not
Included: the aluminium profiles, structural chassis brackets, the wheel-mount option selected at checkout, assembly hardware and tools, white assembly gloves, the assembly guide, the Core side-profile shifter/handbrake arm.
Not included: the seat, seat slider, wheelbase, steering wheel, pedals, shifter or handbrake device, monitor stand, display unless a bundle or option explicitly states otherwise. Add the dual-locking seat slider when adjustable seat positioning is required.
When should you move from Hobby to Club?
Club moves to a 40 × 80 mm main profile and a rated braking load of 150 kg at the pedal deck, giving a growing direct-drive or load-cell setup more structural reserve. Hobby remains the compact, value-led choice when footprint and entry price matter most. Compare it with the same-finish Club cockpit.
Red finish with a familiar competition direction
Red gives the cockpit a direct motorsport character and makes the profile structure a visible part of the finished simulator. It is a straightforward choice for drivers who want more presence than black without moving to a multi-colour livery.
A black seat, wheelbase and monitor system creates the classic red-and-black pairing and keeps the controls easy to read. Small metallic details can add depth without weakening that simple visual theme.
Wheelbase compatibility depends on the selected mount
Compatibility is model-specific. Bottom Mount covers supported underside patterns from Logitech, Fanatec, MOZA, Thrustmaster, SIMAGIC, PXN, Simucube, Asetek and VRS. The regular Front Mount covers supported Fanatec, Simucube and VRS front patterns and does not fit any SIMAGIC wheelbase. Side Mount covers supported Fanatec, MOZA and SIMAGIC models, while Asetek Front Mount is dedicated to supported Asetek models.
